It’s On TV Tonight!

Posted by on June 15 at 13:16 PM

There are TWO “don’t miss” events tonight for you tube lovers starting with the Britney Spears interview with Matt Lauer on Dateline (NBC, 9 pm). If you caught part one of the interview on this morning’s edition of The Today Show, you’ve already had a sweet taste of Britney boo-hooing about how she’s being picked on because she’s a goddamn hillbilly. (Tell it to the bald and blind banjo pickers, sweetheart.) Tonight she’ll defend her indefensible marriage to K.Fed, as well as threaten to start HER OWN MAGAZINE to counter all the “lies” spewed by the tabloids. Dude, I would TOTALLY edit the shit out of that magazine! Where do I send my resume??
Secondly, if you are a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and you have cable, DO NOT MISS the new British import, Hex (BBC America, 10 pm). It’s about a hot and sexy prep school where one hot and sexy teen gets some hot and sexy magical powers. Plus, her best friend is a LESBIAN GHOST. (Did she perish from lesbian bed death?) Anyhoo, this show is smart, funny, and best of all DIRTY. Check it out!

Why are british girls always so flippin ugly? The same stock that made Kate Moss has got to be capable of producing something better than the pap they throw onto BBC. Christ.

I think it's because their parents are English, instead of being French, Spanish, or Italian. They're usually pretty cute until they hit eight or so. Sadly, at eight their chin has usually reached its full development, and their teeth start to go.

wait, no mention of "so you think you can dance"??

It's not that Brit girls are typically ugly, but rather that the BBC et al don't have any problem putting normal looking people on the telly.

What...I fucking love the Pat Benatar dyke! Rock on sister, I had that same outfit, haircut and make up in 9th grade (in 1980-81) and I was fuckin' cool as shit.

Comto, you state that as fact, rather than something you just wish were true. Have you spent much time in the UK? Truly, the BBC is working overtime with the little they got.

I'd much rather see a show full of "flippin ugly" British chicks than a bunch of interchangeable US starlets with the same hair weave and the same plastic surgery.
