Huff Letter Is Legit

Posted by on June 13 at 14:55 PM

The Seattle Police Department is releasing a report that states handwriting analysts’ belief that the letter found in the trash in April and released to media last week was in fact written by Kyle Huff.

Last week, SPD was saying only that it appeared Huff authored the letter. I’ll post more on the report later this afternoon.

The toxicology report on Huff is the biggest puzzle piece still unaccounted for.

I'd say how the letter got into the trash and then was found weeks later by the police is a pretty hefty puzzle piece as well.

Has Kane seen it? And if so did he see it before or after the shooting?

In more recent news, the media apologized for not writing much about the people who were shot and continually focussing on the loser who shot them, thus rewarding future mass murderers who seek to justify themselves by killing people for attention.

Oh, sorry, that was in Bizarro World.

What took the police so long? It was obvious that Kyle Huff wrote the letter: the handwriting samples that were posted on Slog comparing the letter to Kyle Huff's job application couldn't have been clearer. Now we want to know why the letter wound up where it did.

Was someone attempting to destroy evidence? Did someone know about this in advance and do nothing to stop it?

This isn't about disrespecting the victims or making some sort of anti-hero out of Kyle Huff. If this could have been prevented, and there's someone out there who could have prevented it, then that person should be punished—isn't that justice? And isn't that something we owe the victims and their families?

K5 reported over a week ago that the toxicology report was released and contained only alcohol.
