Slog - Comments on Gay Parents Rock—Glam Rock

It was in our morning news post yesterday, but I didn't give the pro-gay parenting decision out of Arkansas the stand-alone Slog post it deserved. Arkansas is the deep south, and the citizens of that state love their gay neighbors about as much as the citizens of any other state in the deep south. Which is to say, they don't love us much.
Comment by Swedish Fan of the Glam Rock Band ^_^

This decision is fantastic! I almost didn't think this could happen in republican-ruled USA. Also, for those interested: the song is called "Father Of A Son", and The Ark's latest album, "State Of The Ark" has actually been released recently in the USA. The song is not from that album, but in that spirit the album has another song called "The Others" that in a way is also about gay rights, namely every person's right to be queer without having labels and stereotypes attached to them. You can also see Father of a Son in a bit better quality at the website.
