FOX: We’re Against Massacring Civilians

Posted by on June 9 at 12:22 PM

This is about a week old, but it’s too wonderful to pass up.

FOX News’ John Gibson, who so valiantly fought to preserve his favorite Christian holiday, feels the need to clarify something about his values…

My Word

My word indeed.

There stance on eating babies is not as black and white.

Of course by definition it's not a massacre if the massacred are evil-doers. If they are terrorists they are evil doers. If they are with the terrorists they are terrorists. If they aren't with us they are with the terrorists. If they had been with us they would have been embedded. If they had been imbedded they couldn't have been massacred. Therefore no civilian death in Iraq is a massacre. QED. The beauty of this argument is that since it proves a massacre is impossible, anyon who claims a massacre exists is asserting an impossibility, from which anything follows, and they'd also have to admit that the massacre doesn't exist too.

Wow, so Fox is ditching Bush? News!

It has all the ernestness of "But some of my best friends are black!"

see? the media IS liberal!

Note the segment is entitled "My Word."

John Gibson is not purporting to represent the views of Fox News on this one...

Why do I feel like that statement was followed by a caveat? "I'm against massacres of civilians & cover-ups...however..."
