Coulter vs. Carlin

Posted by on June 14 at 15:16 PM

Now here’s one smackdown I want to see. Let’s just hope Carlin’s firing on all cylinders tonight.

I really hope she gets the smackdown. I am so tired of these STUPID, ILL-INFORMED GOONS!

Did you see this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCdT9dfrb-Q

Uh, wow. Who was that woman on the left? Does she still have a job at Fox News after that?

Smackdown is exactly the right word, given that this scripted, set piece against cartoon villain Ann Coulter is about as real as the WWF.

They should at least get Rowdy Roddy Piper to beat her up if USA Today is going to hype the "fireworks" ahead of time. George Carlin doesn't even wear a cape or anything.

Normally, I deplore men hitting women. But since Coulter isn't actually one, I'd certainly make an exception if given the chance.

What a reprehensible excuse for a human being that THING is...

That was FOX NEWS??? Let me just collect my jaw from the floor...

George Carlin is a tragedy.

Did you guys see the website referenced at the end of that FOX news video?

http://www.thesignsofthetimes.net/ is the site, and it looks pretty awful.

Someone needs to knock that bitch off.

I can't believe there's something that will get me to watch Jay Leno on purpose. I hope I can make it through his opening dreck.

I saw the interview clip up on YouTube, but it didn't seem to involve any sort of smackdown of Coulter, either from Leno (which of course, I wouldn't have expected anyway) nor from Carlin - did I miss something?

I agree that was no smackdown. But the George Carlin monologue was great!

I've never seen Ann Coulter speak before. She looks like she knows what she's saying is all horseshit and she does it just to get under poeples' skin. Well, that and she looks like a mediocre drag queen.

Ann Coulter fancies herself a modern-day Domonique Francon. I wonder who her Howard Roark is?

....And lest anyone think I'm a Randian or objectivist, or whatever the fuck they are called: I regard "The Fountainhead" (the only AR book I've read) as a pretty good romance novel, if you just flip through the preachy parts. ;-)
