Cantwell Flips Off Frank Blethen

Posted by on June 8 at 10:45 AM

Maria Cantwell voted to continue debate on the estate tax…meaning…she voted to “filibuster,” or she voted against letting the stupid idea come to a vote.

Also meaning: She gave the finger to Frank Blethen.

Cool. There may be hope for her yet.

Well...somebody had to.

Would Cantwell voting for a bill outlawing the hiring of down syndromed parakeets for a news staff be a flip off to Tim Keck?

Since this doesn't fit in with my misconceived notion that Cantwell is a DINO who always votes with Republicans(except when she doesn't), I'm just going to ignore this.

Remember, Naderites, there's no difference between ... [ROFLMAO] ...

oh, sorry, couldn't keep a straight face while saying that one.

So, she voted for the foregone conclusion that the repeal would never pass. When Frist brought it to the floor this morning he said it was destined to fail but that he was waiting for the "compromise" bill still to come. The "compromise" will most likely be to roll back the tax by a large enough amount that it might as well be repealed so that both sides can say they won.

Wait to see what is in the "compromise" and how the good senator votes before we decide she has gone all liberal on us.

I wonder how Mr. "Let's repeal the Capital gains tax" would've voted?

Aexia,
Glad to see you are still stuck in your time warp. Just like Bush and Cantwell, you seem to fit Colbert's description of someone who believes the same thing on Wednesday as you did on Monday regardless of what you learn on Tuesday.
Wilson recanted his positions on capital gains and healthcare over four years ago. You might try reading something other than Cantwell press releases sometime.

Peace,

Chad (The Left) Shue
