A bunch of nerds in Georgia have created a device that neutralizes digital cameras. Eventually, the technology could be used to clamp down on piracy, a $3-billion-a-year industry, by preventing pirates from making clandestine recordings at movie theaters.
I'm practically waiting to find out that this can be worked around with the silver foil from a pack of Juicy Fruit.

Sounds like there a lot of bugs still to be worked out of this system, and given the ingenuity of the blackhatters, I'd bet they'll have already developed practical workarounds by the time this is ready for commercial application.
