The sniping between the Shark and Gold reminds me of two comedians working together to build up their audiences. They may be competitors but they both know show biz/marketing and so they cooperate in creating buzz.

Oh hell, let the local Republicans flail about in their impotence and try to claim that Darcy isn't a significant threat to Reichert. In politics, underestimating your opponent is deadly. Let them underestimate Darcy - then we in the 8th will hand them their asses in November.
