ITMFA… blocked? Whaa? Huh?

I just got a very mysterious message from a man about his ITMFA order…

The reason I made the order is that I sent your URL to my son who is “fighting for Democracy” in Iraq and I got the email back saying that ITMFA site is prohibited by IZ Symantic mail security. Sign me,

“Is It Fascism Yet?”

Huh? Whaa? ITMFA prohibited by IZ Symantic? Mail security? What the fuck does this mean? Can anyone help me figure this shit out?

In other ITMFA news, after a short lull orders for ITMFA pins and buttons are once again pouring in. You can order a tasteful lapel pin or stark white-on-black button by clicking here.

Dan:

I think I saw this on Wonkette, as well as Americablog or Dailykos months ago: the Pentagon blocks urls to websites that are leftist/progressive, saying that they're political--while rightwingers still get access since they're defined as "news" or somesuch.

Email Avarosis, he can probably fill you in.

Bill

It sounds like a Symantec (the guys that make Norton Antivirus) Anti-Spam filter. You would have to ask the server admin whether or not he specifically blocked ITMFA.

Sounds like the lame-o filter put out by dumbass watch. It blocks dumbass websites to protect the thankful public already flooded with crap. Selling stupid "look at me I'm a liberal" t-shirt is only going to make things worse.

"mother fucker" might have triggered some keywords the same way breast cancer awareness sites trigger porn filters.

Stupid nonetheless however.

Or you might be hosted on a server that has you sharing an IP address with a known spammer

its not uncommon for automated emails for things like billing and/or online orders to be mistaken for spam; its possible its malicious but its also just as likely that its just your run of the mill mis-identified-as-spam bidness.

I distribute t-shirts with liberal slogans on them! Creating more buttons and junk that is going to end up in landfills makes me politically aware. I'm saving the world!
