One of the big pluses of internet-driven media is that when you do something fucked up, it doesn't get buried on page B10 of your local paper and forgotten. Eventually the rest of the world finds out about how fucked up you are. Good.
Did they do it in silence? Maybe this is some kind of scientology thing?

Look on the bright side: committing this rape in the hospital, long before the infant is fully cognizant, means they got caught right at the beginning, and will suffer the consequences. If the new family has half a clue, and keeps this bit of news from the child as it grows up (the rape, not the adoption), the child will not only NOT suffer these consequences but will be spared far worse ones as time goes on. That may well not have been the first time, and almost certainly would not have been the last, that that fellow was poking around in places he didn't belong. If the child had been raped at two or five or nine, it would have been a lot more damaging.
This just doesn't even make any sense. I mean, one day old? How? Why?
