Uh oh, Chongo

The following brief trailer is dedicated to every kid who watched too much tv in the late 70’s. I mean, Jesus, I remember being freaked out for months.

That trailer totally and completely freaked me out when I was a kid--I had nightmares and was mortified just by the thought of the movie. I'm pretty sure I still couldn't watch it as an adult without feeling freaked out.

Shoot, I thought it was gonna be about Danger Island.

I think possessed ventriloquist dummies were a played out idea by the time that this movie came out. The Chucky movies breathed some new life into the genre for a while, but for me, it's just not that scary of a concept.

I saw that movie as a teenager when it first came out and had to walk home alone in the dark. I was terrified.

Weird...when the page finally loaded (I had no idea what to expect), I got that weird scared feeling in my stomach. Just like I did when I was a kid! Amazing what lasting images can do to you...I'm 33 for chrissakes!

I wasn't allowed to see "Magic" as a child because I believe it was rated R. I remember the commercials scaring the crap out of me. A few years ago, as an adult, I rented it. It is pretty scary, actually!
