The domain name Lesbian.com is for sale. The site is currently “an international resource that is by, for, and about lesbians, queer womyn and our friends.” By this time next week it will be, without a doubt, a hard-core porn site that is about lesbians and queer womyn, but by and for straight guys.
The asking price? Two million dollars.
In about ten seconds that site will be bought by Howard Stern. Ba-booey!

According to the online records at www.register.com, a St. Louis outfit calling itself Beckwith Technology owns the lesbian.com domain until summer of 1997.
Meanwhile, for about $2 million less than $2 million, one can still buy up an alternate name such as:
HomosexualPussy.com, LesbianSexQuest.com, HomoPussy.com, and TheLesbianMaker.com.
Excuse my typo above. Beckwith Technology has the lesbian.com site registered until summer of 2007, not 1997.

I liked it better the first time. So much more dotcommie. They might have been able to sell their geewhiz domain name for bucks in '97. Not now. Nobody cares about "cool" domain names.
I'd be curious to hear more about this, like what's the source of this info, and where can I go to find out what happens next? ???
