Hey, that's in Wallingford.

I'm not going down there and handing her any money, though.

Why don't you go down there and ask her some questions and see if maybe—just maybe—she meets with your approval?

Not a bad idea, Dan. But will I be dragged away by campaign handlers if the questions get too intense? As in, "Why are you the best Democratic party candidate for District 8?"

I also, to be honest, don't want to be harrassed for donations, as I honestly have little in the bank account to offer right now, even if I fully believed in and wanted to support her. These fundraising democrats can be more over-aggressive for your money than a bill collector or a homelessman in Lower Queen Anne.

How come she's not doing it in her district? I don't think Wallymont gets to vote in the 8th.

Because that's probably where one of her donors lives and was nice enough to throw a house party for her and invited other donors. A candidate's money doesn't have to come directly from her district.

Gomez-

Don't be so crybaby-ish. You need to be able to ask candidates questions without being a scaredy cat. You don't have to give at those things, but they do take your money if you offer.

You're inferring I was scared to go down there, Will? Um, no. However, broke or not, I had to deal with some issues involving my landlord and cleaning up some mildew in my bathroom that came up after work and couldn't wait, so it turned out I couldn't go anyway.

Hopefully, she'll pop back into this neck of the woods and I'll get the chance to ask those burning questions in person.
