I've posted a response that will either a) make everyone see that, as Lita Ford once said, it ain't no big thing, or b) will cause more people to pick up their flame-throwers. My guess is we'll see both.... The intentions are good, but there is an inherent hypocrisy in blocking links to one DIY site because you plan on making one of your own that local bands need to sign up with to gain local exposure.

I personally don't mind, see your point, and agree that it will filter things down to local acts and make it easier for those bands to stand out. I like the idea, but the danger of a flamewar over the 'it is, but it isn't' mindset behind this is there.
