I don’t like Belle and Sebastian or Sisters of Mercy. But I wanna do a fact of the day too!

So, here’s the first installment of my “Fact of the Day” on something that’s just as good as Belle and Sebastian and Sisters of Mercy combined… Mayonnaise.

According to Wikipedia.com, Mayonnaise is believed to have been created by the chef of Louis François Armand du Plessis, duc de Richelieu in 1756, to celebrate the Duke’s victory over the British at the port of Mahon (the capital of Minorca in the Balearic Islands).
