The New, Even More Awful Generation of Spam

Posted by on February 16 at 16:23 PM

Is it just me, or is everyone being hit more often with ominously cryptic spam e-mails with subject headers like this NEWººΩ∫øµæÓ-πfl¿Ω±≥¡§√•¿⁄øÕª˘«√CD¡ı¡§ from senders with baffling names like this: ººΩ∫øµæÓxzbzxvsagfsarwe@yahoo.com?

That’s some scary shit, people. What’s Homeland Security doing about this?

I have the dubious honor of periodically checking one of my company's many email boxes and it seems I get about a hundered of these emails per night. Scary, but no scarier than the offers for farm sex videos. eek

It is likely e-mail written in
Chinese, Japanese or some other language the software on your
computer does not recognize.

I wouldn't worry about it too
much. It's a hazard of living
in a monolingual country.

I think the Greek and Chinese are gearing up to take over the world spam championship title. It's out of freakin' control.

Run your web surfing thru an anonymous proxy server. This will hide your IP address and stop many spammers from sending you all those pesky offers to
separate you from your hard earned dollars.

If your e-mail address is plastered all over the place, there is not much
you can do to combat the spam. I understand that resourceful folks created robot programs to harvest e-mail addresses from websites in order to separate dollars from spammers who need addresses to send their offers
to e-mail addresses plasted all over the web.

It's the never ending cycle of life on the Web.

Bon Chance, mes amis!

Yo! Yo! Don't be talkin shit about my homies
ººΩ∫øµæÓxzbzxvsagfsarwe and ººΩ∫øµæÓ-πfl¿Ω±≥¡§.

I remember back in the day when ººΩ∫øµæÓxzbzxvsagfsarwe was coming up and he'd tell me and little ºΩ∫øµæµæÓx that what we had to get was some real ººΩ∫øµæÓ-øµæµ. Best advice a ººΩ∫øµæÓ-ººΩ∫øµæÓxz ever ººΩ∫øµæÓxzbzxvsagfsarweººΩ∫øµæÓxzbzxvsagfsarwe-ed.

Know what I'm sayin?

I love the spam from nonsense names like Gorgonzola Z. Mistubishination.

Song D. Asperity? Is that you?

The vast majority of the spam I receive is in another language, usually Italian or Japanese.
