Ignorance Is Bliss

No matter which side you land on in the whole foreign-controlled ports debate, this has to be troubling:

WASHINGTON - President Bush was unaware of the pending sale of shipping operations at six major U.S. seaports to a state-owned business in the United Arab Emirates until the deal already had been approved by his administration, the White House said Wednesday.

bet cheney knew.

From what I understand there was no reason for the President to know about this until it became a concern. The government is huge and unweildy and one person or office can't know all the details.

Granted, this looks bad, and politically tone deaf. We all wanted a huge government, you shouldn't be surprised when things like this happen.

Honestly, I couldn't care less about which global company controls which sector of the economy. But I support anything that piles further misery on the Bush administration. One of these days they're going to crack under the strain. Shovel it on!

One of these days they're going to crack under the strain.

No kidding. At this rate Bush is never going to win the nomination in '08.
