So is fried tofu parboiled animal?
The board ate my "greater than/less than" signs, making the above-post even less sensical than is my norm.
I think tofu fried in canola or olive or some other nice oil is probably better for you than most alternatives. Very low in fat, still has plenty of protein, and yeah, you're not eating an animal. I love fried tofu.
What's wrong with eating animals?
Tofu dipped in soy sauce, breaded in brewers yeast and fried is beyond fantastic.
I don't know how to answer the "what's wrong with eating animals?" question. But I know there's less wrong with eating tofu.
Fried tofu is definitely delish. Hopefully it's fried in veggie oils that haven't had meat in them. And, hey, it sure beats the recipe I found a couple of months ago for Jellied Moose Nose.
Fried tofu is pretty much the same as regular tofu. Just a little more fat. Maybe 20% more than raw tofu.
If you're at Jai Thai's happy hour, the answer is yes: just say no to tofu rocks.

Of course not!
Tofu still isn't, despite its being fried, an animal. So, there is still good in not eating an animal.
Is there any health benefit for you since the tofu is fried? I dunno. I'm no dietician.
