i was one of the lucky few who was able to experience the funk exhibit at EMP in the spring of 2001 [i think? high school field trip, perhaps?]. the interactive funk ride taught me everything i ever needed to know about funk, including that if you are going to go see george clinton, you need to "get the funk", which usually is something i try and avoid. additionally, i learned that if you played "rufio" in 1991's "hook", your life will be reduced to playing "that kid without the funk" in an interactive movie about "the funk".
i am fairly certain that i have used "quotation marks" in a lot of "inappropriate places" in this here "comment".
