Interesting Coincidence

Posted by on January 20 at 13:04 PM

Council members Jan Drago, Richard McIver and Jean Godden voted for the exact same city council candidates eight times (out of a total of 10 to 12 votes). In comparison, the council’s more liberal bloc - Peter Steinbrueck, Nick Licata, and Richard Conlin, voted for the same candidate just three times.

As I've said to you before, Erica, so what? Do you have an actual point to make?

Erica:

Which candidates?

Perhaps the point is that it's an "Interesting Coincidence"

Jensen, what's so "interesting" about it?

It's interesting because it was reported that council members are barred from talking to each other about their individual choices, yet council members, as blocs, are repeatedly voting for the same candidates.

I think the underlying point is that it's kinda against the unwritten rules.
