Gay Civil Rights Bill Passes the House, 60 - 37

With Friday’s House vote the bill proceeds to the upper chamber, where Majority Leader Sen. Lisa Brown, D-Spokane, has said the upper chamber will act on the bill quickly.

Observation - the 30 year debate on this bill, including all opponents as well as backers, long and short term organizing, voting on both sides of the failed Hands Off Wa. Init. --- suggest it is the historic high tide sum total, the very highest citizen involved issue in
Washington State Political History.

Thirty years and hundreds and hundreds and hundeds of thousands of individuals. Year after year.

Add in Tacoma, Spokane votes on city ordinances - the related total jumps again


And not over yet. Hundreds of thousands more to come.
