Brendan made a prompt apology, but can a mere apology suffice? RH brings up an interesting point: Nobody would've been surprised in the least if the GRK had turned out to be Gary Locke. His neighbors would've said "He was always quiet and polite."

Brendon. Don't let David Schmader push you around. Don't take quizzes he gets to grade. You don't need his stinking quizzes. Some days Neil and O'Neill trade places. So what. Could happen to anybody. I once wrote Gary Ridgeway when I meant Gary Locke. Do I really think the ex-guv dumped bodies along the Green River? Of course not. That's what editors do, catch the lint in our mental filters.
