J.T. Leroy and James Frey both wrote pieces for The Strangeródoes anyone know if this “Nasdijj” guy did too? Did we hit the lit hoax trifecta?
What next--will it be revealed that you're not really gay?

Great post, Dan. I hadn't seen this and I LIVE in LA. I see that Sherman Alexie is quoted in the article and, if I remember correctly, he has written for the Stranger before AND you two are going to a ball game together. Could there perhaps be an article on the literary hoaxery on its way from Mr. Alexie?? (oh please oh please oh please)(And don't you just love us armchair editors?)

I'm in the wrong line of work. I need to totally make up a life's story (under a pseudonym, of course) and make a metric fuckton of money off it, then act like I'm a wonderful human being for writing it.
