So sad! I wish I had seen it before it was taken down. As one of the first SMP employees, I know that there's a wealth of stories to be told. The story really should go beyond blaming the city politicians for thwarting the public will and questioning who is to blame for the agency's blunders--the City should know what we just flushed down the toilet.
In my nearly 3 years at SMP, and the three companion campaigns, I worked with a tremendous group of talented people. Amazingly talented people who put in a shit load of work, all because they believed they were doing soemthing positive for the city and they were excited to work for dynamic people who would never accept "good enough for government work."
Natasha and Kristina--please consider bringing back the SMP blog. I would certainly be a contributor.
