Ick. Couldn't it have changed to a sans-serif font that's not as bold as this, but also not as "skinny, twee, and pretentious" as the brief serif font?

The issue's not really resolved. We rolled it back because of feedback saying that the new style was ugly on PCs (I guess some people still use PCs?). And because Dan hated it so, and he's king of Slogdom.
I'm hoping Corianton will pull something even better out of his hat. But today is our print deadline day, and he's busy with getting the paper to press.
