Over the Hills and Through the Woods…

Posted by on December 9 at 16:20 PM

This is the saddest story everever, ever, EVER.

The six-year-old boy who was killed when a Southwest Airlines jet skidded off a runway at Midway Airport was traveling to visit his grandparents in the Chicago area… the family had just visited McDonald’s and that Joshua was eating his food and singing “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town” just before the accident occurred. The car was pinned under the plane, which landed during snowy conditions. The lawyer says the family is suffering from shock and grief.

Wasn't this just, like, yesterday? And already the family has a lawyer fleshing out the grisliest details for the media?

Interesting.

And very tragic. This stuff is ALWAYS happening around the holidays.

Planes are always skidding off runways and crushing cars with six year-olds in them around the holidays? Really?

I thought this was a first.

My cousin lost his 9-yr. old in a car accident just over a year ago. The night she died, she had fun, seeing "Shark Tales" and going to Baskin-Robbins. It is heart-wrenching to read about this poor kid. Just a reminder to live every day to the fullest and don't sweat the petty things.
