No comment about this article. It speaks for itself. No, I can’t resist, I must say something about it: If I were an afrocentric, black nationalist, five percenter, neo-Marcus Garveyite (which, to make things very clear, I’m not), I would title the article I linked, The Devil and The Deep Blue Sea.

I ascertained that to be caught between the devil and the deep blue sea is to be caught between two equally dire situations. I read the linked article and could not figure out what you mean by this (or what you would mean by this, if you were someone else).

Someone please explain this for me.

I think Mr. Mudede is saying that Whitey is the Devil, and well—riffing off that jazz standard made famous by Sir Thelonius Monk, "The Devil in the Deep Blue Sea," brother Mudede is just having a little fun at whitey's expense over this whole story about the lighter pigmentation gene getting discovered in a deep sea creature.
