Meanwhile In the Other Washington…

Posted by on December 16 at 17:32 PM

While we freak out about some idjit ballplayer, the rest of the country is flipping out about George W. Bush breaking the law and violating his oath of office by ordering the NSA to illegally spy on US citizens.

Check out this long post at Washington Monthly. How many fucking straws have to drop on this camel’s back before it finally breaks?

One does wonder why the story was sat on so long. Per NPR's 'All Things Considered' the same paper is hinting they have more news, and held off from reporting this for over a year.

Snark aside - you guys are in the press - why would they sit on a story like this?

Like I said, the only straw that will break this camel's back is the one that involves Bush being broadcast on live television raping babies.

It would literally take a Coup to stop the madness, and that's not going to happen. The elephants can dance around any legalities. They pretty much have the mainstream media and Congress (and, soon, the courts) by the nuts.
