The first thing I noticed on ye olde Slog. Bring back the old school bold sans serif. Much easier on thee eyes.

Old headlines were superior. These new ones seem annoyingly quaint and staid.

I think they look pretty. The problem is that there's a clash of personalities going on between the font and the actual content. The Slog is way too down-and-dirty for that look, so it rings fake.

Looks like the aesthetics are a crowd splitter, but maybe we can agree that the new serifed font is harder to read?
