TONIGHT! Live-Slogging the Primary
The latest returns, the worst of the finger-food, the best-dressed candidates, the drunken kisses in the hallways… We’re going to slog it all, bringing you primary night in Seattle through the gimlet-eyed views of the Stranger Election Control Board.
Log on starting at 8 p.m., just before the first returns come in, and we'll be here with reports and pictures from the field. Will Josh Feit and Casey Corr make up? Will Erica C. Barnett get Paige Miller drunk enough to admit she didn't save the waterfront trolley? Will Amy Jenniges stay awake at Linda Averill's socialist hoe-down? Will The Stranger's full-time Party Crasher, Paul Constant, experience anything that even remotely rivals licking jello-shots out of a woman's bosom?
And perhaps most importantly, will Eli Sanders, stuck at the Stranger offices with a bottle of Scotch, stay sober enough to hit "post"? Find out, starting at 8 p.m.
