Berkeley pop-punk label Lookout Records laid off its staff this week after Green Day “reclaimed ownership of its pre-1994 word from the label” according to an article in SF Gate by Aidin Vaziri. The label was the former and current home to a number of national acts, from Green Day to the Donnas, Rancid, Ted Leo, and Operation Ivy.
