What Novak Said
One of the biggest lingering mysteries in the burgeoning scandal over the leaking of a CIA agent’s identity has been what Robert Novak, who first outed the agent in his syndicated column, has done to keep himself out of jail (à la Judith Miller of the NYT). Novak refuses to tell, but the assumption has been that he struck some sort of deal with prosecutors, or told them all he knows long ago.
