Charles, it’s debatable whether “techno is a black form of music”; in fact, we were recently discussing how it originated in releases by Kraftwerk and Giorgio Moroder (white Europeans). Which is not to diminish the contributions to techno from black Americans like Mills, Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Robert Hood, Mad Mike Banks, Saunderson, et al.
